Radiographers and Technologists

Throughout the year, the PET-CT Academy hosts several study days on key topics associated with the fields of Nuclear Medicine, Physics and Radiology in a PET-CT service.

PET-CT Academy study days are presented over an entire day from The Christie School of Oncology’s state-of-the-art auditorium to live audiences by the Academy’s expert faculty and guest speakers. The day includes various lectures, case studies, and interactive sessions with presentations of clinical examples.

Remote and international delegates are also welcome to participate virtually through our live-streaming platform.

Use of Contrast in PET-CT

Provides a comprehensive introduction to contrast and its application, the practicalities of using appropriate equipment safely and implementing the correct protocols, such as attenuation correction, dose, and data flow.

Gallium-DOTA-Peptide Imaging in Neuroendocrine Tumours

A deep dive into the application of Gallium-DOTA-Peptide Imaging that covers the clinical pathway of NET (Neuroendocrine Tumours), the production of the 68Ga Tracer, radiation protection and the physics behind it, preparing patients for imaging; and reporting cases.
