The Scenarios & Solutions course consolidates the learning covered in the Essentials of PET-CT for Radiographers and Technologists e-learning course through allowing you to solve practical problems in a work-based setting.

Suitable for newly qualified Radiographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists. Not suitable for anyone with over 2 years’ experience in a PET-CT service.

Learning Outcomes

Describe the role of the Radiographer or Technologist within a PET-CT department.
Define how to safely and effectively use a scanner and FDG.
Determine how to manage and administer medicines within the role of a Radiographer or Technologist.
Explain how to manage and deliver quality patient care.
