This course provides the theory-only component of IV Cannulation.

Suitable for radiographers and technologists who are already experienced in IV cannulation, designated by their manager as needing the theory-only component.

Learning Outcomes

Describe how to perform vein and venous assessments.
Develop awareness of quality patient care and management, including complications, anaphylaxis, and ongoing care.
Describe how to accurately calculate tracer doses.
Describe the process to effectively manage and clean up radioactive spills.
